Elle fait partie de la chaîne kirghize. Une rivière du même nom traverse la vallée et mène à la cascade de Kegety.<br /> <br /> == Géographie de la gorge ==<br /> La gorge de Kegety est située dans la province de Chüy, à 18 km au sud de Tokmok et à 50 km à l&#039;est de Bichkek. Elle appartient à la chaîne kirghize et constitue son versant nord. L&#039;altitude maximale de la gorge, à la source de la rivière Kegety, est de 3150 mètres, tandis qu&#039;à l&#039;entrée, elle est de 1250 mètres, soit un dénivelé total d&#039;environ 900 mètres. Sa longueur est d’environ 27 km.<br /> <br /> La gorge de Kegety comprend trois vallées adjacentes :<br /> * La gorge principale – Kegety<br /> * At-Djaïloo<br /> * Kel-Tor<br /> <br /> La rivière Kegety traverse la gorge principale. Sur le versant est se trouve un petit lac de montagne, le lac Kel-Tor, situé à 2721 mètres d’altitude et accessible en une journée de marche. Deux cascades se trouvent également le long de la gorge : une au pied et une autre plus en profondeur.<br /> <br /> Comme dans de nombreuses gorges du Kirghizistan, la flore est variée : fleurs, herbes, champignons et autres plantes y poussent en abondance. La faune comprend des bouquetins, des spermophiles et, en hiver, des loups qui descendent dans la vallée.<br /> <br /> == Itinéraire touristique ==<br /> L’itinéraire touristique de la gorge de Kegety est varié et propose de nombreux sites pittoresques. Pour visiter tous les lieux intéressants, il faut prévoir 2 à 3 jours.<br /> <br /> Les cascades de Kegety, grande et petite, sont situées le long de la gorge principale. Des itinéraires alternatifs mènent à la vallée d’At-Djaïloo ou au lac de haute montagne Kel-Tor. Une carte des itinéraires possibles est disponible ci-dessous.<br /> <br /> Cette excursion est idéale pour les amateurs de plein air et convient à tous les âges et niveaux de condition physique, sans préparation spéciale. Ceux qui ne souhaitent pas escalader les sommets peuvent profiter d’une promenade le long de la rivière, se détendre sur une prairie et admirer les montagnes. Selon la saison, il est possible de cueillir des fraises sauvages, des baies, des champignons ou des plantes médicinales. Les plus sportifs peuvent monter jusqu&#039;à la cascade supérieure pour un défi physique et un panorama exceptionnel.<br /> <br /> == Comment s’y rendre ==<br /> De nombreuses agences touristiques proposent des trajets organisés depuis Bichkek. Cependant, il est possible d’y aller en voiture : il faut prendre la route en direction de Kant, puis continuer jusqu’au village de Krasnaya Rechka. De là, il faut tourner vers le sud en direction des villages de Yourievka et Kegety.
